Avant’s battery expertise and immersion cooling technology have been adapted into a completely new format, and we are introducing a new solution, OptiTemp® Cube 47, to the European market and some of Asian and African markets. Our new mobile power units offer Avant loader users a completely new level of freedom to work even on remote job sites without access to the electrical grid.

OptiTemp® Cube 47 is a portable, durable and compact mobile power unit that electrifies off-grid worksites anywhere. With 47 kWh battery capacity, it powers electric Avant loaders, other machinery, and tools e.g. in demolition, construction, farming, mining, and events. The unit can be charged overnight and easily transported where power is needed.

The OptiTemp® Cube 47 is simple to use: charge it, plug in, and start working. Standard features include one high-power 3-phase inlet, one high-power 3-phase outlet, three 1-phase outlets, simultaneous charging and discharging, smart display, IoT connectivity with Over-the-Air updates, and reinforced side panels.

Also used in Avant e-series loaders, Avant Power’s OptiTemp® immersion cooling technology optimizes battery temperature, extends service life, and ensures high fire safety plus compliance with UN and EU standards.

OptiTemp® Lithium-Ion Power

At the core of the OptiTemp® Cube is the unique Avant OptiTemp® battery technology that is also used in Avant’s e series loaders. It is designed and manufactured by Avant Tecno’s subsidiary, Avant Power, in Ylöjärvi, Finland. OptiTemp® batteries ensure safe and reliable performance in all weather conditions and under continuous load.

Unlike conventional battery solutions, Avant OptiTemp® battery packs feature advanced thermal management that keeps cell temperatures at an optimal level – even in extremely cold or hot working conditions. The immersion cooling technology and multi-level protection maximize battery lifespan and safety. Avant is the only loader manufacturer in the world with its own battery production.

The OptiTemp® Cube delivers clean, quiet and locally emission-free power for worksites where noise, air quality and sustainability matter. It is ideal for remote worksites, events, underground operations and other environments where diesel engines are restricted or prohibited. By eliminating exhaust emissions and reducing noise levels, it improves working conditions while helping operators meet strict environmental and safety requirements.

Smart, Efficient Charging Options

The OptiTemp® Cube can be tailored to different charging environments with a range of optional charging solutions.

For locations without a three-phase power supply, the Cube can be equipped with an optional 1-phase charging inlet. Six plug types are available (Type E, F, G, J, K and L) to match local electrical standards and provide convenient charging wherever the unit is used.

A dedicated solar power inlet is available for charging the Cube with renewable energy, helping to reduce operating costs and environmental impact.

The optional CEE to Type 2 charging cable allows the OptiTemp® Cube to charge electric Avant loaders as well as other electric machines and vehicles equipped with a Type 2 charging connector.

For long-term off-grid applications, an optional generator inlet enables the Cube to be recharged from an external generator when grid power is unavailable. This provides additional flexibility on remote worksites and helps ensure uninterrupted operation over extended periods.
