U plow

U plow is a professional tool for fast and efficient snow removal. It consists of a 72.0 in wide main blade and two side blades which can be turned ± 85° hydraulically. This allows access through narrow gates and yards, and on the other hand the max. 118.1 in working width with the side blades extended guarantees fast cleaning of larger areas. Collecting and pushing of large amounts of snow is also easy with the side blades turned into ”U” position.

The plow is equipped with strong springs which allow the blade to give in backward in case it hits an obstacle, like a lid of well. In this case the plow jumps over the obstacle and the spring returns the blade back to plowing position. The plow is also equipped with ±7,5° horizontal floating and two skid shoes as standard. There are also four round reflectors on the edges of the main blade and the side blades.

Minimum working width is 63.0 in with the side blades turned completely to the back, and max. 118.1 in with side blades straight. Turning of the plow happens with two hydraulic cylinders; turning angle is ± 35°. Side blades can be turned independently or simultaneously with the switches of the optional Opticontrol® attachment control switch pack. The plow is equipped with an ice scraper cutting edge as standard, straight cutting edge is available as an option. In addition, an outline marker lamp kit (4 pcs lamps on the edges of the main blade and the side blades) is available as on option instead of the standard round reflectors.
