Horizontal log splitter

Horizontal log splitter is the most economical and simple way to make firewood with Avant. It mounts on the attachment coupling plate of the loader and is operated from the driver’s seat. Splitting happens by picking up the log with the splitter and pushing it against the splitting wedge. The log can also be held with the splitter and transported to desired place for splitting.

Splitting force is 8.3 Ton. Maximum log length is 26 in and diameter 11.8 in.

A 4 way splitting wedge is standard equipment, allowing splitting into two or four pieces; a 6 way wedge is available as an option. Wedge height adjustment is manual as standard, hydraulic height adjustment is available as an option.
