Three months, three shows: a strong start to 2026
In Q1, we’ve been busy with three standout exhibitions that delivered valuable insights, meaningful conversations and a clear view of the evolving industries we work in.
From agriculture and plant hire, to the future of energy, each month has brought a distinct perspective – highlighting not only the diversity of the sectors we support, but also the pace at which they continue to innovate.
So, what have the Avant Tecno team been up to?
A positive beginning at LAMMA
In January, we kicked off the year by exhibiting at LAMMA Show – the UK’s premier event for agricultural machinery and technology.
The atmosphere across the event was overwhelmingly positive, reflecting a resilient and forward-looking UK agricultural sector, where innovation and adaptability to challenges took centre stage.
It was encouraging to see such strong engagement and enthusiasm so early in the year, setting a confident tone for the months ahead.
Insightful conversations at the Executive Hire Show
The following month, we exhibited at our next event in Coventry, the Executive Hire Show (EHS) – the UK’s leading plant and tool hire event for professional hirers.
The two-day event proved to be a great opportunity to demonstrate why our versatile loaders are ideal for hire. With over 200 attachments and various machine sizes available, hire customers can customise an Avant to suit their specific application.
Beyond showcasing machinery, EHS offered invaluable opportunities to connect with industry professionals and hear firsthand about the challenges they face.
A recurring topic throughout the show was the weather – unsurprising given the persistent rainfall experienced during the first few months of the year. This has undoubtedly had a knock-on effect on the construction industry, influencing project timelines and operational challenges.
These discussions highlighted the importance of flexibility and resilience within the sector – qualities which Avant machines are renowned to deliver!
Exploring new ground at the Energy Storage Show
In March, the Avant Tecno team stepped into new territories at the Energy Storage Show in Birmingham.
The Energy Storage Show is a showcase of the very latest technologies that will help transition the UK to clean, sustainable and efficient energy storage systems.
As a newer sector for Avant Tecno, this event offered a fresh perspective and a wealth of knowledge. The insights gained into renewable energy and power storage technologies were truly impressive, providing a clear indication of where the future of energy is heading.
As exhibitors, we were proud to showcase some of our own innovations in sustainable machinery and energy storage. This included our e-series electric loader, powered by our mobile OptiCube energy unit – a unique offering within our industry and a powerful, eco-friendly alternative to traditional fuel-powered machinery.
Looking Ahead
Reflecting on the past three months, it’s clear that each show has contributed to a broader understanding of the markets we serve!
From the optimism in agriculture, through to the practical challenges in rental and construction, to the forward momentum in renewable energy, the journey has been both diverse and rewarding.
