Avant backhoe 170 is a compact digging unit, intended mainly for Avant 200 series. The main focus in design was user friendliness and straight forward construction. Backhoe 170 is a small backhoe, which is at its best in tight situations where space is limited.

Boom movements are smooth and precise, which makes operation easier also for less experienced users. To facilitate the digging the frame of the backhoe is as low as possible, which gives unrestricted visibility to the work area.
