Branch cutter S30

The branch cutter which mounts on the S30 side arms – both on the hydraulic and the mechanical side arm – is a fast and efficient tree trimmer. The 700 mm diameter circular sawblade cuts the branches cleanly and, if needed, also small trees. When removing tree branches the sawblade is in vertical position, but thanks to the hydraulic tilting of the S30 side arms’ jib boom the blade can also be turned to horizontal position and cut down small trees.
Thanks to the telescopic loader boom of Avant the cutting height can be as high as 4 metres, depending on loader model, and the optional manually telescoping extension arm on the S30 side arm increases the the outreach almost a further 1 m if needed. The adjustable side outreach of the S30 side arms, plus the optional extension arm give flexibility and allow cutting in various distances from the loader.
The optional Opticontrol® system is required on the loader for operating the branch cutter.
Loader with enclosed cab (GT, DLX, LX) is recommended when working with the branch cutter. If the loader is equipped with the ROPS/FOPS safety frame or cab L, use of personal protective equipment – hard hat with visor, safety goggles etc. – is mandatory.
