History of Avant

The journey of Avant Loaders began over 25 years ago, rooted in a mission to transform challenging farm tasks into efficient, enjoyable experiences. With more than a decade of experience in developing agricultural machinery, our core team identified a key gap: the lack of proper, cost-effective equipment for silage distribution in cow houses.

From this insight, the first Avant loader was born – a skid steer loader equipped with an 11-horsepower gasoline engine. It could distribute feed to 50-80 cows in just 10-15 minutes, twice a day, every day of the year. This innovation replaced the labor-intensive process of using wheelbarrows and shovels.

“Change your most unpleasant task to the most enjoyable!”, resonated deeply with farmers, leading to the sale of 80 machines in our first year.

Continuous Development and Innovation

Success inspired us to push boundaries. With a strong focus on product development, we introduced diesel-powered versions and expanded our range of attachments, catering to new customer segments. By the early 1990s, our export efforts flourished, especially in Germany, where we established our first sales subsidiary.

In 1995, we unveiled the first articulated Avant loader, opening up a world of possibilities. This new design quickly gained traction in industries such as landscaping, green area maintenance, horse stables, and private use. With this breakthrough, we expanded to over ten export countries and saw monthly sales soar to 80 loaders per month.

As demand grew, we prioritized innovation and efficiency in our production. Our modern manufacturing facility, equipped to deliver world-class quality, stands as a testament to our commitment to excellence. Customers from around the world can visit and witness the cutting-edge processes that produce our renowned loaders.

Avant Today

Today, Avant offers seven loader model series – six powered by combustion engines and the fully electric e series, equipped with the state-of-the-art Avant OptiTemp® lithium-ion battery, manufactured in-house by Avant Power. These models are complemented by a vast selection of over 200 attachments and 50+ customizable options, ranging from counterweights to air-conditioned GT cabs.

With engine power ratings from 20 hp to 57 hp, Avant loaders cater to a wide range of industries, including farming, construction, landscaping, municipal maintenance, and private use. Our e series represents the future of sustainable machinery, offering zero-emission operation with advanced battery technology.

We now export to over 55 countries worldwide, serving an ever-expanding customer base. With continuous investment in product development and innovation, our sales have grown to 150 machines per week, solidifying our position as a global leader in compact loader solutions.
