With the sod roller it is easy to lay large sod rolls quickly and conveniently. Sod, also called turf, is the upper layer of soil with grass growing on it and is often harvested in rolls. The roller shaft is slided through the center of the roll; after that the roll is picked up with the attachment and the sod can be rolled out.
The sod roll can be mounted to roll out driving either forward or in reverse. Maximum width of the roll is 1300 mm. There are two adjustable and lockable width limiter discs on the shaft of the roller to support different width rolls. The attachment coupling plate on the roller is bolted in the middle as standard, but can be moved 250 mm to the right or to the left from the centerline if needed.
The sod roller can also be used to handle other products on rolls (cable, barbed wire, wire etc.).
