BOOM FLOATING

Boom floating system releases the lift cylinder so that the boom moves freely upwards from the position where it is when boom floating is switched on, allowing the attachment to follow the contours of the ground.

Boom floating can also be installed on machines with boom self levelling. On 800 series boom floating is standard equipment. The boom floating valve bypasses boom self levelling, which means that boom self levelling doesn’t work when boom floating is switched on.
