The edge trimmer equipped with a weed brush allows lawn edge cutting and sweeping at the same time. It is intended for cleaning the edge between kerb stones and lawn, and it can also be used for trimming the edge between the lawn and paving, asphalt, concrete slab, etc.
Cutting disc can be lifted up so that the unit works as a weed brush only. The brush (A422665) is a heavy-duty wire rope brush, diameter 700 mm as standard. Diameter of the cutting disc is 460 mm. An adjustable and detachable splash guard and a foldable support wheel are standard equipment as well.
Working width (distance from the brush to the side from the loader’s quick attach plate) can be adjusted manually max. 180 mm, as well as the distance between the cutting disc and the brush. The cutting disc is spring loaded: the spring turns the disc parallel with the driving direction. The angle of the brush can be adjusted manually.
The unit can be mounted in three different positions: working on the right side or on the left side of the loader, or pointing to the front (transport position). Changing the working direction from the right to the left side of the loader requires tools and the left-handed mounting bracket A449096 for the cutting disc.
