Avant assists in building the SnowVillage in Lainio, Finland

Nearly 200 km above the Arctic Circle lies a destination of exciting Arctic experiences and a magical world made from snow and ice. At SnowVillage spend a cosy night in the snow hotel, have a delicious dinner in the spectacular Ice restaurant and enjoy the coolest drinks served “on the rocks” from the Ice bar. The SnowVillage is built for the 16th time in winter 2016–2017 in Lainio, Finland.

Around 15 million kilos of snow and 300 000 kilos of crystal clear natural ice are used to build the spectacular SnowVillage. For several years Avant has been an important machine while building the SnowVillage. The size of Avant is very suitable for the job and it can be driven inside the village during the whole season. Different elements can be moved quickly and easily, also lifting of the ice is taken care of by Avant.

See you at Bauma 2019

The Avant 800 series will be presented to the public at the Bauma 2019 trade fair in Munich, Germany from the 8th to the 14th of

April. The world’s largest trade fair for the construction industry, Bauma is held every three years at the Neue Messe München.

The last time Bauma was held in 2016, 3 425 exhibitors from 58 countries participated. Over the seven days the trade fair was open, Bauma welcomed 583 736 visitors from 219 countries. About 1500 journalists and media representatives from 47 countries were on hand to cover the event.
